The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between social capital and organizational agility the Islamic Azad University. The research applied in terms of purpose and method was descriptive, correlational one. The statistical population consisted of all full-time professors and teaching staff units of neka and behshahr (N= 326). The statistical sample was 175 participants that determined by the Krejci and Morgan formula and selected by stratified random sampling according to gender. Data were gathered by using two standard questionnaires: social capital and organizational agility questionnaires. The content and face validity of the instruments was confirmed by experts. Their reliability was calculated to 0.89 and 0.91 respectively by the use of Cronbach Alpha. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics including Pearson correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data. The results indicated that there is a positive and significant correlation between social capital and dimensions (structural, relational and cognitive) with organizational agility. Also, the contribution of each dimension of social capital is different in predicting organizational agility.
